Dependent upon the position, we welcome dedicated and experienced greenhouse/nursery applicants or entry level applicants who are enthusiastic, have a love of plants and a desire to be trained in a fast-paced, varied and physical work environment.

Retail Front End Manager -

Do you love people, plants and having a job that keeps you active?  Do you want to use your retail management experience in a beautiful, natural environment and are excited to learn new things?

We are looking for talented, friendly, hard working managers to add value to our team.  In collaboration with other Front End Managers, you will oversee the sales floor, keeping cashiers and plant loaders on track and on task. You will set up and move plant displays, care for plants, interact with customers, problem solve, and open and close the store. Key to success in this role is the ability to handle multiple priorities and people at one time. Excellent customer service, high energy and the flexibility to adjust to shifting priorities are essential.                     A background working in a nursery, garden center, plant store or similar plant environment is preferred but not required.

Cashiers -

This is a position for an experienced cashier who takes pride in consistently demonstrating accuracy, attention to detail and excellent customer service. This is a great position for someone who is high energy and can handle a fast pace through our busy spring and early summer. Prior experience in a similar environment is ideal but not required. Full-time and part-time hours are available. 

When you aren't cashiering, you will price plants and other merchandise, keep the customer areas neat and clean and help with various projects. Minimum age is 18.

Customer Service / Loader -

We have PT and FT openings in our retail department for high -energy, friendly, strong individuals to help our customers load their vehicles with plants, trees, bagged goods, pots, etc., as well as perform project work throughout the greenhouses and property.  Plant knowledge is not required, but the ability to safely lift 50+ pounds, work as a team member and provide outstanding customer service is essential. Project work is done both in and outdoors and range from raking, painting, moving/pricing plants, watering, power-washing, and more.  This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a friendly team, learn about plants and be physically active. Minimum age is 18.

Plant Information/Customer Service (Seasonal) -

Excellent opportunity for an experienced plant professional. You must be able to identify a wide range of plants, recommend soil amendments, fertilizers and other plant related products, troubleshoot regarding pests, plant problems and diseases. An extensive knowledge of our plants here in the Pacific Northwest is essential.  Communication with customers is done both face-to-face as well as by phone. Qualified applicants must be enthusiastic, energetic, demonstrate great customer service and phone communication skills and be able to be on their feet most of the day. Flexible hours are available. 

Experienced Nursery Personnel -

We have full-time positions available for individuals with a minimum of two years experience working in a retail nursery. We are looking for those with experience in perennials, trees, annuals, woody ornamental plants, grasses, vines - and with providing excellent customer service. We value practical experience but these are positions requiring more than home gardening expertise.

Qualified applicants must be able to handle the physical demands of our fast-pace, high volume operation. Our retail complex covers several acres outside as well as under cover. Responsibilities include but are not limited to stocking, pricing, displaying and maintaining plants. Weekends are required. This is a great opportunity for experienced applicants who can handle a challenging position with energy and enthusiasm. 

Mechanic -

We are looking for an additional full-time fleet mechanic. This is an excellent opportunity to join our well established, family owned organization. We have a large fleet of farm and road vehicles to inspect, diagnose, repair and maintain. 

We offer top of market compensation for experienced individuals. 

Facility Maintenance Person - 

We have a full-time opening for an individual who has a background in light carpentry and construction. Experience with power hand tools is required. Experience in concrete or with driving a forklift or other equipment is a plus.
