Job Description:
Flower World Inc. is looking for an experienced, full-time, Facilities Project Manager to oversee and maintain our multi-site nursery and growing operation. You will play a critical role in ensuring the operational integrity of our facilities, promote a safe and efficient work environment for our team, and keep equipment operational.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive facility maintenance plan to ensure the proper functioning of our facilities.
- Manage and lead a team of 12 maintenance technicians and construction staff.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs and address them promptly.
- Oversee equipment and machinery maintenance, ensuring they are in optimal working condition.
- Plan and execute facility improvement projects within budget and on schedule.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and prioritize maintenance and repair needs.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for maintenance services and supplies.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and expenditures.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in facility management and maintenance, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Strong technical and mechanical aptitude.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in computer applications and facility management software.
