Shade-tolerant groundcovers tend to do well in areas that have less sunlight available but typically still need 2-4 hours of partial sun to thrive. Some shade tolerant species tend to quickly spread so be sure to consider what your plan for your space is and research the type of plant you want before planting. Remember, all plants need some natural light to survive.
