Winter Interest Plants

Winter in the Pacific Northwest is certainly not the time to stop gardening.  In fact, it's quite the opposite.  Our temperate climate and mild weather is the perfect time to add winter interest plants to your garden.  Why not add some texture with the twists and turns of a Contorted Filbert or Red Twig Dogwood?  Pop some color with a Witch Hazel shrub.  Evergreen winter blooming Camellias are always a great choice.  No winter garden is complete without the sweet smelling Sarcacocca shrub.  Pair it with Winter Daphne or the perennial favorite Hellebore in shades of pink and white to create the perfect look.
